Karisma Rh Collagen Before and After: What Photos Show

You have found Karisma Rh Collagen before-and-after pictures and wonder what they really show: a smoother surface or simply better lighting? Karisma Rh Collagen FACE is a multicomponent injectable material studied for certain aspects of skin quality, including texture. Available clinical observations suggest that roughness and appearance can change, but they cannot justify promises to erase deep wrinkles, significant laxity or scars. Someone else's photograph is even less of a personal forecast.

The name Rh Collagen may suggest that ready-made youthful skin is being injected or that lost collagen is restored at once. More precisely, the formula contains high-molecular-weight non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid, a recombinant human type-I collagen alpha-chain polypeptide, and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). Recombinant means the protein component is made through biotechnology. That is not a skin transplant or a guarantee that a specific amount of new collagen will grow. For general product information, see Karisma Rh Collagen; here the question is how trustworthy the result photographs are.

What might change, and what can photography easily exaggerate?

The hoped-for changes are a more even skin surface, some improvement in perceived hydration and less prominent small lines. Minor cheek roughness or broadly uneven texture might therefore be worth discussing. A deep fold, substantial midface volume loss or ptosis—soft tissue sagging—will not have its underlying cause removed simply by improving texture. Outcomes also differ across thick and thin skin, scarring, sun damage, inflammation and previous skin care.

What appears to changeCautious interpretationWhat else to check
A cheek looks smootherPossibly improved texture, but soft lighting and filters can mimic itClose-up images with matching light direction and, if possible, instrument-based assessment
Fine lines nearly disappearMoisture, swelling and facial expression can all alter their appearanceThe date of the second photograph and another after swelling resolves
Folds appear shallowerBiostimulation alone does not explain every change in volumeAny other injections or procedures between photographs
Acne scars seem to disappearScar type and depth matter more than promises about collagenMatched side lighting, current acne and a separate scar assessment

The strongest comparison is not a dull picture on the left and a smiling, sun-kissed one on the right. It consists of repeatable front and profile shots, including the same oblique lighting. Hair, makeup, chin position and even phone distance affect how cheeks and the lower face look. Ask what the clinician can reasonably attribute to Karisma rather than skin care, additional treatment or seasonal changes.

What did the Karisma study actually show?

A clinical paper in Biomedicines in 2024 followed 100 participants in groups with different baseline skin characteristics, including age-related changes, smoking and scarring. Its protocol involved two 2 mL injections about a month apart, with questionnaires and Antera 3D skin measurements at baseline and 30 and 60 days. The authors reported reduced measured roughness and improvements in assessed outcomes. These are observations, not proof that every woman will obtain the same result after two visits.

Why be cautious? Short follow-up does not answer how someone will look a year later, and without a direct comparison with common alternatives the product cannot be declared superior. Satisfaction questionnaires and imaging measurements are useful, but alone they do not show that wrinkles or scars disappear. Laboratory studies on skin cells explore possible mechanisms; cell-culture results do not establish how a living person's face will look without appropriate clinical evidence.

The manufacturer describes ingredients and proposed indications, including age-related changes and small scar defects. That is a manufacturer's description rather than independent proof for every such condition. Medical-device registration in one country and marketing terms such as biocompatible or non-allergenic do not eliminate individual risk. The status and availability of the exact product in Armenia must be checked separately from a global brand website.

When is an after-picture meaningful, and why not on injection day?

Any early change after injection can reflect both the material and temporary swelling. Redness, tenderness, bruises or small uneven spots interfere with objective texture assessment. The paper's 30- and 60-day measurements are study follow-up points, not a compulsory treatment schedule or guaranteed onset date. If you are offered a different plan, ask why it was chosen and what evidence supports it.

Observation pointWhat interferes with comparisonWhat to record
Before treatmentDifference between natural and artificial lightUnfiltered photographs and a list of specific concerns
Immediately afterwardsPuncture marks, local swelling or rednessSymptoms and the recommended aftercare rather than a supposed final result
After early reactions subsideSome bruises or uneven puffiness may remainPhotographs under the same conditions, symptoms and symmetry questions
Review visitChanges in skin care, weight, sun exposure or other treatmentsMatched angles and discussion of measurable goals

If a dinner or filming is coming up in a few days, being medically fit to work is not the only concern. You might prefer not to show even small injection marks. Do not assume every bruise will fade before a fixed date; agree on a sensible buffer with the clinician. Do not cover fresh punctures with makeup against individual aftercare instructions. Hard workouts, heat, massage and combining injections with device-based procedures also require specific instructions rather than an advertising calendar.

Is your concern skin texture or the shape of your face?

If it is the surface, rather than facial outline, that bothers you in ordinary lighting, ask which texture feature the clinician proposes to improve and how they will measure it. Pronounced acne scars first need classification and assessment of active inflammation; targeted scar treatments may be required and cannot simply be replaced by this injectable. If the goal is a lift, removal of heavy folds or a dramatically sharper chin, expectations of a modest change in skin quality will not match the concern. Distinguish a surface problem from loss of volume or displacement of tissue.

There are calmer alternatives: regular sun protection, personalised skin care and treatment of an active dermatological condition may be preferable or may come before injection. Keep the intervention proportionate to your concern; a small dissatisfaction does not require a medical procedure. You can decline even if you like somebody else's after-picture.

Safety: what needs discussing before the first injection?

Introducing material through a needle or cannula breaches the skin and can cause pain, bruising, infection, inflammatory responses or lumps. Facial injection also requires attention to vascular anatomy: unintentionally placing material inside a vessel can cause ischaemia, meaning inadequate blood supply. Generic FDA filler warnings do not establish an identical rate of these complications for every formulation, but they do justify recognising urgent symptoms. Sudden unusual pain, whitening or grey-blue skin, vision changes, weakness or speech difficulty require emergency medical care. Increasing warmth, spreading redness, swelling with fever or discharge warrants urgent clinical assessment.

An active infection or inflammation where injection is planned should be assessed and treated first. Tell the clinician about severe allergies, past reactions to injectables, clotting disorders or medicines that raise bleeding risk. Ask specifically about each component of the chosen version. For elective aesthetic injection in pregnancy or breastfeeding, safety evidence is insufficient; postponement is prudent. Never interrupt prescribed medication on your own for a cosmetic procedure.

Having hyaluronic acid among the ingredients does not make the entire multicomponent Karisma product straightforward to dissolve. Hyaluronidase acts on the HA component, but cannot guarantee complete removal of the other components or correction of every complication. Do not consent because somebody promises to reverse everything in one minute.

A consultation checklist for checking before-and-after promises

  1. Name one result you would like to see in normal lighting, such as less cheek roughness, rather than a vague whole-face rejuvenation.
  2. Ask what represents superficial lines, active inflammation, scars or loss of volume. These may require different approaches with different limitations.
  3. Confirm the full product name, manufacturer, regulatory status in the country of treatment, instructions and evidence of genuine packaging.
  4. Ask why this treatment schedule was chosen, when to photograph again and which outcomes are supported by studies rather than an individual clinician's assumption.
  5. Ask about emergency contacts, the qualifications of the injector and what will happen if there is severe pain, a change of skin colour or infection.
  6. Request the full cost including visits, numbing, review and possible additional expenses; one injection price is not the price of a whole result.

A useful Karisma after-picture is a measurable change photographed under matched conditions and related to your actual goal, not a promotional portrait using different exposure. If a clinician promises to erase any fold, will not discuss the ingredients or refuses to acknowledge evidence limits, you have every reason to decline. Waiting or choosing a conservative approach is not a failure.

Further questions

What if a lump appears several weeks later?

Do not massage the lump based on internet advice or inject anything yourself. Contact your injector for an examination. Severe pain, skin-colour change, fever or rapid deterioration at the same time needs urgent assessment.

Can you rely on a beauty salon's advertised skin-collagen measurement?

Only if the seller explains a validated measurement method, the site, baseline measurement and follow-up interval. The phrase stimulates collagen is not itself a measurement of visible improvement and does not replace matched photographs or clinical assessment.
