Revolax fillers: how Fine, Deep and Sub-Q differ

If you have been offered Revolax for your lips or facial contours, you may be wondering whether it is a specific product or merely a memorable name. Revolax is a line of injectable, cross-linked hyaluronic acid fillers produced by South Korea's ACROSS Co., Ltd. Depending on the version, they are designed to add volume or address particular folds. A natural result is not guaranteed by the brand: the exact gel, your anatomy, injected amount and the practitioner's qualifications matter more than the packaging.

This is neither a face cream nor a superficial moisturizing product. Fillers are injected with a needle or cannula, and swelling, bruising, asymmetry and complications are possible. One rare but particularly serious problem is material entering a blood vessel and compromising blood supply to skin or the eye. Decline treatment until you have a full consultation if injections are proposed without discussing these risks.

Fine, Deep and Sub-Q: why the loudest recommendation is not enough

Common Revolax variants include Fine, Deep and Sub-Q. Distributor documentation describes differences in gel properties and intended injection depth. A regional catalogue lists hyaluronic acid at 24 mg/mL and lidocaine at 0.3% for the versions formulated with lidocaine. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic, so its presence matters when considering allergies and sensitivity. Check the actual product packaging for the formulation, labeling and contents used in your country.

Range versionHow regional product material describes itWhat this does not prove
Revolax FineA softer gel for selected superficial lines and delicate correction. It does not mean any thin-skinned area can be injected safely.
Revolax DeepA gel for certain deeper folds, lips and volume adjustments according to its instructions. It is not automatically suitable for every lip or injection technique.
Revolax Sub-QA more structural version marketed for volume and contouring. It does not make all deep anatomical zones safe, particularly areas with complex vessels.

This table distinguishes versions; it is not a do-it-yourself guide to choosing products or injection depths. “Firmer” does not automatically mean “lasts longer in my face”. A gel suited to one anatomical task may produce palpable edges, excess volume or unevenness when placed incorrectly. Nor does the word Deep determine how much the lips should be enlarged; amount is a separate decision.

The region around the eyes is particularly important. Some regional promotional lists mention it for Fine, but the French instructions for REVOLAX FINE with lidocaine explicitly prohibit injection around the eyes and into eyelids. A seller's general references to “fine wrinkles” must not be treated as permission for periocular injections. Check the official instructions for the specific version and market, and do not agree until any discrepancy has been resolved.

Ask to see the full trade name on the actual syringe, whether it contains lidocaine, the expiration date, batch and instructions. Do not accept “the same Revolax, just different packaging” until the professional clarifies exactly what it contains. The manufacturer and distributors have changed anti-counterfeit details and box appearance over time; a photo from an older advert is not evidence of the present batch's origin.

What can Revolax change, and what needs another method?

Filler can change localized volume and relief, such as defining a particular contour or reducing the appearance of a chosen crease. It does this by adding a gel, not by “restarting skin youth”. For dryness and fine lines without lost volume, a contour filler may be excessive: skin care or skin-quality treatments may suit the concern better. For heavy, drooping tissue and excess skin, additional volume may make the lower face look heavier rather than lift it.

Naturalness depends on where added volume sits relative to your existing proportions. Some women want only less asymmetry; others want more defined lips or chin. You need not justify either preference, but it helps to set a limit beforehand: how noticeable a change would you feel comfortable seeing daily and in side-profile photos? The clinician should explain conflicting goals—for example, fuller lips may not feel exactly like thin lips used to.

What do regulatory status and clinical evidence actually show?

A Polish distributor describes Revolax as a Class III CE-marked medical device; the UK distributor connects the brand to ACROSS and reported a packaging change in 2024. These are claims tied to particular markets and periods, not proof that every batch is registered in Armenia, the US or anywhere else. European conformity marking is not FDA approval. An international online shop does not establish worldwide authorization.

Evidence on hyaluronic acid fillers as a category helps explain mechanisms and risks but does not replace direct comparative studies of each Revolax version. Claims of “minimal migration”, “perfect biocompatibility” or an exact number of months of duration should be treated as seller descriptions unless independently compared for your particular treatment area. Neither viscosity nor purified source materials eliminate the possibility of nodules, inflammation or vascular injury.

Different distributors quote different longevity estimates by product. None is your personal timetable: area, quantity, placement, facial movement, tissue characteristics and repeat procedures all influence what remains visible. Hyaluronic acid gels generally change and partly break down over time, but remnants or complications may remain longer than expected. Do not schedule automatic “top-ups” by the calendar before assessing what is still present.

FDA warnings about dermal fillers offer more concrete information about serious class-wide complications than glowing testimonials. They do not mean Revolax is FDA-approved or that Revolax-specific complication rates are precisely known. They provide a necessary framework when weighing any filler and explain the importance of planning for emergencies.

What is treatment like, and how painful is it?

Before injecting, the clinician asks about prior fillers, surgery, chronic disease, swelling, allergies, herpes, medication and your wishes. Previously placed unknown or permanent materials are particularly relevant: combining products in one area can complicate assessment and correction. Discuss the placement plan, amount, exact Revolax formulation and vascular anatomy of the chosen site. You should understand the price before any package is opened.

Injections can feel like pressure, a prick, stretching or local pain. Lidocaine in “with lidocaine” versions may lessen some discomfort, but treatment is not necessarily painless, and lidocaine has its own contraindications. Other pain relief may be discussed with its limits and risks. Age and appearance do not reliably predict pain tolerance; you may always ask for a pause and explanation.

An unidentified syringe, a product brought in by a patient, repackaged or previously opened boxes and absent batch markings are inappropriate for invasive care. Injections should be performed by a medically qualified professional trained in facial anatomy and complication management, consistent with local rules. Rapid recognition of vascular compromise and access to urgent care matter as much as achieving a pleasing contour.

When will swelling stop interfering with work and photographs?

PeriodWhat may happenWhy it matters for your plans
First hoursSwelling, needle marks, tenderness and sometimes marked asymmetry. This is not the moment to assess final volume or plan a public photo session.
Following daysBruises may appear or persist, and swelling can differ between sides.Even without medical time off, these changes may be socially noticeable.
Once the reaction settlesShape and the need for review become clearer.Do not rush to add more gel to correct temporary swelling or asymmetry.
LaterDelayed lumps, inflammation or contour changes may occur.Keep the batch details and clinician's contact for problems months later.

According to the FDA, common effects such as swelling and bruising often arise shortly after injection; some resolve over days or weeks. Nobody can guarantee that your lips will look “just like mine, only fuller” by a given Saturday. Allow ample time before an important event, especially for a first injection. Makeup, exercise, sauna, massage and sleep advice should depend on the area and clinical findings; blanket promises that everything is fine the next day are unreliable.

Do not massage lumps, puncture swollen skin or attempt to redistribute filler yourself. If you dislike the appearance after acute swelling has settled, an examination is needed. Residual swelling, misplaced gel, inflammatory nodules and vascular problems require different responses; sometimes observation is safer than immediate additional injections.

When should treatment be postponed or avoided?

Regional Revolax materials restrict use in pregnancy and breastfeeding, hypersensitivity to constituents, inflammation or infection at the site, a tendency to certain abnormal scars, and around certain aggressive skin procedures. For lidocaine formulations, ask about allergy to that anesthetic. These points must be checked against the current official instructions of the actual syringe and your history, rather than an online retailer's generic list.

The French instructions for Fine with lidocaine also explicitly forbid intravascular injection and use in people under 18 and require attention to the total lidocaine dose when other local anesthesia is used. Those are instructions for a specific version and market; do not automatically generalize them to every version, but discuss them before proceeding.

Active acne, herpes, dental infection, recent illness, medications affecting clotting, certain autoimmune conditions and old fillers merit clinical discussion. Do not stop prescribed medication yourself to reduce bruising. Postpone elective injections during pregnancy planning, breastfeeding or unclear health circumstances until appropriately assessed. Report any previous severe response to an injectable or local anesthetic before consenting.

Which symptoms are not “normal swelling”?

Sudden severe or increasing pain, unusual whitening, gray net-like discoloration or cold skin during or after injection may signal impaired blood supply. Immediate examination by the injecting medical professional or emergency services is essential; do not wait for it to settle. Any change in vision, severe headache with neurological symptoms, weakness or speech disturbance after filler calls for emergency services and the nearest emergency department immediately. Do not try home treatment or delay care waiting for a cosmetic appointment.

The FDA warns that filler unintentionally entering a vessel can cause tissue necrosis, vision loss and stroke. Professional consensus on vascular complications emphasizes urgent clinical pathways. For some hyaluronic acid filler complications, a clinician may use hyaluronidase, an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid; it is not a complete or guaranteed undo button. If vision changes occur, enzyme treatment never substitutes for immediate emergency referral.

Increasing redness, warmth, fever, discharge or painful lumps days or weeks later also need medical assessment for infection or inflammatory reaction. Rare complications can occur long after you stop thinking about the injection. Keep a record of the product, batch and where to obtain help outside office hours.

How to compare Revolax with other fillers—or choose none

Compare specific gel versions, with verifiable local legality, available instructions, appropriate intended uses, published evidence and complication response plans, rather than pictures of boxes. Brands such as Saypha and MaiLi also contain different versions. “This one lasts longer” means little without a direct comparison for the same site and comparable amounts. A separate page on Revolax fillers may answer a narrower search question; here the priority is the safety of choosing a specific member of the range.

If your only goal is better skin hydration, try skin care or explore skin-quality options such as NCTF 135 HA; those products serve a different purpose and are not contour gels. If significant sagging is the issue, fillers may not be appropriate, and added volume may distort proportions. Choosing no treatment at all is also reasonable, particularly if you are unsure what would still feel like your own face.

Check before-and-after photos for matching lighting, angle, expression and timing. Immediately post-injection photos may show swelling as well as gel; retouched pictures reveal nothing about complication rates. Reviews may suggest questions about a clinician's manner, but cannot establish vascular risk or prove a batch is authentic.

Questions to ask before the syringe is opened

  • Is this Fine, Deep or Sub-Q, with or without lidocaine, and why that precise version?
  • Where are the official instructions and batch documents valid in our country, and may I retain the label?
  • What amount and change in proportions do you propose? Could we start more conservatively?
  • Who is injecting, what training do they have, and what happens if vascular occlusion is suspected?
  • Are the necessary supplies and a clear emergency pathway, including ophthalmology, available?
  • What restrictions, follow-up, corrections and related costs are included in the plan?

You do not have to consent because a product is already prepared or you attended a consultation. Having unpressured time to decide is part of good medical care. If the precise version, gel origin or emergency plan cannot be explained, the safer next step is a proper in-person consultation—not an injection.

Additional questions

Can I buy Revolax and take it to a clinician myself?

A traceable medical supply chain is preferable so that the practitioner can verify the batch, expiration, package integrity and documents. Buying an unfamiliar syringe online may leave the clinician without trustworthy information about its origin or storage.

Can I dissolve a disappointing filler myself?

No. Hyaluronidase is a medical treatment with indications and risks; a clinician must decide whether it is needed, which product to use, how to administer it and how to monitor you. Suspected impaired circulation or vision needs emergency care, not a scheduled dissolution session.
